Pasadena City Hall entrance. I know I used a flash...and messed around with all types of color temperatures. This was probably shot at 2omm or so 14mm was a little wider than I then I liked..i didn't want to get the pillars in the shot...i wanted the photo to give the perspective of someone actually being right there, in the entrance looking up at the incredible ceiling, that sort of pulls you forward. There is a version of this photo where the floor looks like a blue pond...This is a great place to shoot....for anything....weddings, head shots, models, friends, for fun....beautiful atmosphere, quiet and fantastic architecture.
Pasadena City Hall Building in Pasadena, California. If i remember correctly, this photo was taken at a 22 aperture with an iso 1oo. Dark Dark Dark, with an obvious long exposure... This place was desolate...I wanted to add the second element in the photo--the car turn to the right--I waited and waited...I was there for about 3 hours...finally i got what i was looking for...gratification is not instant in the case of Pasadena City Hall.
