The Sinking Tree at the Arboretum in Arcadia California. I thought it looked interesting and definitely nice in black and white. It forms an arrow or open bottom triangle. The reflection on the water also came out nice in black and white. The water was almost perfectly still. It reminded me of a sinking ship....quietly sinking.
Waterfall. I always wanted to snap a shot like this. I finally found my waterfall. I look forward to snapping many more fountains, bodies of water similar to this style in the future.
Artist, Patrick Dougherty's, 'Catawampus.' A.K.A. or a least what I thought it was...a man made nest. It is amazing to look at. I is like the size of a 1 bedroom apartment. He twists, bends, folds etc. branches of all sizes and shapes, forming a massive structure that people can walk through. It seems pretty sturdy and sure is an interesting sight.
