This was my first time shooting at the San Diego Civic Center. It was much nicer than I anticipated, but we had to shoot from the sound board on the second floor, next to an exit....so we were at least a good 50 yards away or more from Morissette. The lighting was good on Alanis when she was in the spotlight, but when she did come off the mic, it was to quick iso adjusting to get her crawling and head-banging in dim light with strobes. She put on a spectacular show and her vocals are amazing. She has kept up her Grammy Award winning style perfectly.
