Natalie Arzola: Aspiring. Lately I've been shooting head shots for aspiring models and actresses...even just the family and friends. It's great fun, but hard to get people to pose and look natural. Candid photos are the best, but it seems that everyone unknowingly puts on a front anytime they get in front of the camera. Natalie was a great model. I was most pleased with the bamboo tree shots. The bamboo stocks served as a great natural prop and added some theme or plot to the photo. I took her head shots at the Arboretum in Arcadia California...which as you've seen before is a great scenic place for any and all type of photos. Students get in for five bucks. Wild peacocks roam the park. Tons of movies have been shot their. It's just a great stroll in the park.
